And Ken modestly neglected to add that, in addition to being a Cantor in
Swampscott -
In college he formed and led the Yale Klezmer Band
In his present capacity he has formed and leads a Klezmer Band band of
teenagers from the towns of Swampscott and neighboring Marblehead, the
Klezmaniacs
Not only is the band amazingly good considering the age of its members,
he actually managed to find a teenage singer who comes from a home where
Yiddish is spoken thus she has a good accent and understands what she is
singing
Is an accomplished Klezmer violinist and Yiddish singer and plays in a
couple of bands in the Boston area
Has an incredible capacity for communicating to everyone who comes in
contact with him his love of and enthusiasm for Judaism and Yiddishkayt
And finally, is a real mensch
Ken, small bills will be fine :-)
