On Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:30 PM, come join us at The Old Broadway Synagogue
for our first annual Lag B?Omer Blowout! The music for this joyous and
heartfelt gathering will be provided by Klezmerama, an acoustic ensemble
made up of four top New York klezmer musicians: Michael Hess, violin;
Ismael Butera, accordion; Debra Kreisburg, clarinet; and Catherine Popper,
double bass. Admission is only $10.00. Light snacks and refreshments provided.
The Old Broadway Synagogue is located 1/2 block east of Broadway and ½
block north of 125th St., only 100 yards from the IRT #1 or 9 train
station. This is the third and final concert this season of the Upper Upper
West Side Jewish Music Series. Historic Old Broadway Synagogue?the last
affiliated Jewish congregation in Harlem?presents this concert series with
the goal of revitalizing the shul and its congregation.
