Hi Michal:

Yiddish speakers understand "krekhtsn' means "to groan"
"kneytshn" means "to fold" or "to bend"
and (non-musically) "tshoks" relates to "clink"-ing.

Can someone explain --in layperson's language--
what these terms  mean to a singer or instrumentalist?
