a little snip and paste?

Hi, can I reiterate an old plea not to include ENTIRE , especially
entire long messages, in one's replies? Sometimes they end of being
repeated several times, and scrolling down to get to the next new
message just goes on and on.... Actually, almost every list I
participate in has been requesting its members to be selective about how
much of the answered message they include, just enough to identify their
comments to readers. It takes a little longer to answer that way for
some systems if you have to cut and paste or type an address into "new
message" instead of hitting "reply" but not THAT long! (my system
doesn't automatically quote the message when replying but some do, and
some do but that can be turned off). Cheers, Judith
