Sherry --
To the best of my knowledge, many of these bands don't have recordings
available. However, check out the following:
Margot Leverett (of Mikveh): The Art of Klezmer Clarinet on Traditional
Crossroads, which should be available from any vendor with a good world
music section;
Metropolitan Klezmer -- Yiddish For Travelers (if you can't find this
anywhere else, contact Eve Sicular off-list)
Pharoah's Daughter -- Daddy's Pockets
and
Lox and Vodka -- Heavy Shtetl (I love this album!)
I would imagine that if you can't find them on Tara's Jewishmusic.com or
in local record stores that you can contact Basya Schechter and Caron
Dale, respectively, off-list. I believe they are both on this list.
