ASCAP Award winning singer-songwriter LAURA WETZLER tours in over
150 concerts, lectures, TV and radio appearances each year,
singing World Jewish Roots music in Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino, as well as 
original contemporary Folk and the great classics of American song. Based in 
NYC and Western Massachusetts, Laura is the daughter of a synagogue music 
director and has been singing and teaching Jewish music professionally since 
the age of 15. As seen in Moment,The Daily News, Singout!,Lilith, The Jewish 
Week, Jewish Entertainment Resource Directory, Jewishculture.com, Bridges, 
The Jewish Sentinelle and many others. Her original CD,
Songwriter's Notebook (1800BUYMYCD-www.songs.com/LauraWetzler)includes her 
Jewish songs "B'makom-In A Place" based on Hillel, and "Children of 
Abraham", and is currently receiving airplay on over 300+ radio stations 
around the world. "Children of Abraham" is soon to be featured on the Seeds 
Of Peace compilation CD with Harry Belafonte, Pete Seeger and Debbie 
Friedman. Her casette of Jewish standards, "A World of Jewish Music" has 
sold thousands of copies.
The Feb concert programs will include Jewish songs from Uganda, Ethiopia, 
Calcutta, Iraq, Spain, Turkey, Eastern Europe and the U.S., as well as 
original contemporary American folk.
