Camp Barney Medintz, the summer overnight camp of the Atlanta JCC, has
position(s) available for song leader(s)  during our 2000 summer season!!

"Camp Barney," located in the  Blue Ridge Mountains, 1 hour NE of Atlanta,
serves 1000 children and 240 staff during 2 4-week sessions.  Established in
1963, Camp Barney is on 500 wooded acres surrounding two large private lakes.
 Among the activities offered: water skiing, horseback riding, backpacking,
ropes courses, tennis, mountain biking, fencing, theater, crafts, Israeli
folk dance, swimming, sailing, "the Blob," and much more.

Each summer, N.F.T.Y. trained or experienced songleaders are hired with a
reperatoire of Judaic and secular music.  Camp Barney songleaders are now
simultaneous counselros but rather teach sessions and assist with Shabbat
sirivice preperation in small groups.  The song leader also leads songs in
the dining hall, throughout Shabbat, campfires, etc.

Camp Barney is an amazing place!  Beautiful setting, exciting program, great
