Please correct me if I'm wrong on the following:
Billy Hodes did "Esn" in 1947 with Ray Curtis' Catskills Cowboys. Carnival
Records.
DJ Phil Fink said Hodes was a Catskills comedian. Pronounced "Ho-des."
If any of this is off the mark, please tell me. Also, feel free to fill me
in on the Hodes story.
I first heard "Esn" on the 20th Century Jewish Humor tape. Thanks.
