Two additional illustrated sources on musical instruments of ancient Israel:
Sendrey & Norton, DAVID'S HARP, chapter 13 (pp. 113-31); Eric Werner, FROM
GENERATION TO GENERATION (published by American Conference of Cantors),
"Musical Instruments in the Bible," pp. 46-71. And at risk of repetition
(sorry), someone (maybe Bob W.) already provided an Alfred Sendrey title,
but I can't remember which: His MUSIC IN ANCIENT ISRAEL devotes Section VI,
pp. 262-421, to musical instruments. Hope this helps.
