Great Synagogue Choir of Jerusalem

        Historic B'nai Israel Congregation of East Baltimore, together with
the Jewish Student Centers of Maryland, will present the prestigious Great
Synagogue Choir of Jerusalem in concert on Sunday afternoon, June 14, 1998,
at 2 p.m. at Stephens Hall on the Towson University campus
        The gala concert, which will also feature one of Europe's most
celebrated cantorial voices, Cantor Moshe Haschel of the St. John's Wood
Synagogue in London, is being held to commemorate both B'nai Israel's 125th
and Israel's 50th anniversaries. The program will feature liturgical
selections, Israeli favorites in honor of the 50th anniversary, and Yiddish
and folk music.
        Tickets are now on sale for the concert and may be purchased from
the Towson University Ticket Office (410-830-2244), or at Jacob's Ladder,
