Tribute to Mickey Katz & The Barry Sisters

In what was billed as a "Salute To Mickey Katz and The Barry Sisters", last
Sunday May 3, at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Claire Barry gave one of
the greatest performances I have ever seen. Her set consisted of a meldley of
"Barry Sister Standards" as well as new tunes.
Her voice actually sounds better than it did 25 years ago, and she received a
most deserved sustained standing ovation.
If you ever get the chance to see this great performer, take advantage of the
opportunity. She's in a class by herself !!!!!
