honored on his 18th yahrtzeit with an evening of the dances he loved.

Yemenite Folklore Workshop
with Seadia Amishai
Sunday April 19, 1998 @ 6:00 pm
Seadia Amishai is one of Israel's most admired Yemenite dance teachers and
choreographers. For folk dancers interested in authenticity in folklore,
Seadia will present a workshop on Yemenite dance that is a must. He will
also review some of his dances that he created out of the folk tradition
starting in the 1950's. This is a rare opportunity for those in the New
York City area to have a truly unique experience in folk dance.
