Hingham MA
Friday, Mar 6 - 8:00 PM - Service co-led by Cantor Robbie Solomon. He
will sing and talk about "Tradition in Jewish Music - Whose Tradition?"
Saturday Morning, March 7th, 10 AM - Service co-led by Mark Rosenfeld
featuring music, guided meditation, davening and discussion. Mark is a
member of B'Nai Or of Boston, a Jewish Renewal community.
Saturday Evening March 7th, 7:30 PM - A Klezmer Havdalah & Dance with
Mashke (my band) - We will assist in leading a musical Havdalah, give a
short lecture/concert on some of the History of Klezmer, and then play
for dancing/listening (admission)
Sunday Morning, March 8th 11:00 AM - Breakfast with Joshua Jacobson,
founder and director or the Zamir Chrale. He will speak on "How Jewish
is Jewish Music?" (admission)
The admission for the Saturday night Havdalah Dance is $18.00. The
admission for the Sunday morning Breakfast is $10.00.
