Your referenced letter was very interesting. About 4 years ago a group
of three young musicians from Berlin contacted me here in New Orleans.
They came to my Israeli dance group and played for Klezmer for us. I was
suprised to learn that they weren't  Jewish. Since then I have heard
more about the revival of Klezmer in Germany and have been wondering
about it. At first it seemed to me that these young people were like
young people most places--rebelling against their elders.However, after
reading your letter I realize it is much more complex than that. I hope
you will publish more on this issue.
