Dear Friends,

The Wholesale Klezmer Band will be performing a concert of traditional and
original Yiddish music at the Hebrew Congregation of Somers in Northern
Westchester County, NY (about 40 miles north of New York City) on Sunday
evening, June 30 at 7:30 pm.  We will be presenting selections from our two
upcoming CDs: Yidn fun Amol (The Jews of Long Ago) and Tfile far a
Tsebrokhene Velt (Prayer for a Broken World) as well as some of our old
favorites.

Tickets for the concert which will raise funds for the Hebrew Congregation
of Somers are $15.
Anyone wishing to support this event with an extra donation may contribute
$25 for a sponsorship or $50 as a Patron.  Sponsors and Patrons will have
reserved seating in the front, and their names listed in the program.
Patrons will also be invited to a champagne and cheese reception before the
show.

To get to the Hebrew Congregation of Somers:

Take the Taconic Parkway to Route 6 and head east.

On route 6 in Baldwin Place, turn onto Route 118.  Follow it
around 90 degree right curve and proceed till you see a large green sign,
"Shenorock."
Turn left at the sign, go straight, past one stop sign.  Several streets
after, see "Shenorock Drive" and turn right.
Follw this road, staying left at the fork and right at the next intersection.
 road becomes Cypress Lane.  See
synagogue on right at Mervyn Drive.  If you see a lake on your right, you've
gone too far.  Shul phone 248-9811.
