Adrian,

Hi. My computer only sends faxes of what the software produces, so I can't
help from here. However, I have a suggestion which will kill two birds with
one stone (I wish there was a less bloody cliche').

Knowing how isolated you are (I grew up in Hibbing, Minn.) and imagining
how much more isolated this kid is, having good resources at your
fingertips is
even more important than it is for city-folks who can borrow from friends.
There is a wonderful book which contains not only the Max Helfman arr. of
this song, but also excellent voice/piano arr. of many other standard
Jewish pieces. It would be worth getting copies for both you and her.

The book is "Harvest of Jewish Song", edited by Tzipora Jochsberger. She
founded the Hebrew Arts School in NYC (it now has another name), and I
heard
that the piano accompaniments in this book were prepared in part by some of
the Hebrew Arts School piano faculty. There are several different
arrangers represented, and also a few settings by Richard Neumann and Max
Helfman.

The song you want has a lovely, "open" acc. which fits perfectly with the mood.
I'm at home and my "Gates of Song" is at work, so I don't know that piano
arr. to compare. I am a Bass, and I use the Helfman arr. in its original
key.

If you ask Mayer Pasternak at Tara Publications (1-800 TARA-400) to put this
book in priority mail (or 2nd Day UPS) to you, you will have it in 2 days
for not too much extra money. Good luck!
