Chicago: Klez band for Kids!



The Jr. Klezmer Orchestra (sponsored by the Community Foundation for
Jewish Education) studies the rolicking art of klezmer music under the
instruction of members of the Maxwell St. Klezmer Band every other Sunday
at Cong. Moriah in Deerfield.  The cost is only $50 per school year, and
students may join any time.  Material is specially prepared and provided. 
The group performs and records its music.  All instrumentalists with
proficiency on their instrument and reading ability are invited to
audition.  Attend a special open house (short performance and
refreshments) for The Jr. Klezmer Orchestra and the Shiga'on Singers on
Sun., Feb. 2, 3:30-4:30 at Cong. Moriah.  Call for details:  Lori Lippitz
