I strongly urge you to add in your Jewish history the rescue of the 
Ethiopian Jews to Israel:

Operation Elijah (1979-1983)
Operation Moses  (1984)
OPeration Joshua (1985)
Operation Solomon (1991)

Whereas in 1974 there were less than 200 Ethiopian Jews in Israel, and 
there were over 40,000 in Ethiopia, today there are over 50,000 Ethiopian 
Jews in Israel, and less than 500 in Ethiopia.
