Welcome to "Can You Top This?" Back to trb. I recall (dimly again),
during my growings up in the Bronx, that the NYC Police Benevolent
Association bagpipe corps used to actually do a rendition of Hava
Nagila on the bagpipes, that they would whip out for the St Patrick's
Day parade and other such freilach and simchadik occasions. (They
claimed it was unique as well.)

ps - while on the subject of the H song, it should not go unmentioned
that IT seems to have entered the canon of American sports organ
music. These days, the ballpark organist will play it to spur on the
crowd, whether or not there's a Jew involved on the playing field.
(I haven't seen the hora replacing the wave, though.) -trb
