YES!! After a concert in about 1984 in which the Klezmorim gave credit
to Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, Moldavian, and.....oh, yes, Jewish
sources, of klezmer, I asked one of them why they do this. I got some
answer about their emphasizing the "universal quality of our music" or
some such narishkite. It made me very sad.

Needless to say, my Klezmorim records have not received any new
scratches since then. Anyone want them?
