Matthew,

If you don't mind my asking, why would a community band in Las Cruces play a
Jewish composition (aside from purely aesthetic reasons)? In case you didn't
realize it, Las Cruces is a Jewish wasteland. I know an observant Jewish couple
which unfortunately has been stuck in Las Cruces for the past few years (they
can't leave until they fill & sell a motor home park they happen to own there).
They've indicated they're the only Jews in the town, although there's at least
one other Jewish couple quite a few towns over.

BTW, if you give me all the details (e.g., location, price, etc.), I'll forward
it to them. They might get a kick out of hearing a Jewish composition in Las
Cruces!
