[HANASHIR:4724] Re: Traditional or "Mi Sinai" melodies

What is wrong with a "chestnut"?  I purposely include older, well-known tunes 
if I am trying to grab that part of the congregation that is older and was 
raised in Conservative or Ortho. tradition.  You would be surprised -- or 
maybe not -- to learn that many currently Reform or Reconst. congregants are 
familiar with older "chestnut"-type melodies.
