[HANASHIR:4710] RE: Traditional or "Mi Sinai" melodies

It's kind of hard to answer since there are multiple traditional melodies
for many of these. But I'll take a stab at some that might be the ones you
know as "traditional:"

Shalom Aleichem? Israel Goldfarb

Lecha Dodi? There are 3-Lewandowski (the waltz); Mordecai Zeira; trad
Hasidic

Tzaddik Katamar? Louis Lewandowski

Ahavat Olam? is there a trad one? The one you know is probably Debbie
Friedman's. Goldfarb, M. Nathanson and others all wrote one.

Oseh Shalom? Nurit Hirsch wrote the one you most likely think of as trad.

Eyn Keyloheynu? Julius Freudenthal; another is by Hans Wurman adapted by
Bill Sharlin

Adon Olam? Eliezer Gerovitz

Does this help?

Adrian

Does anyone know who composed the 'traditional'
Shalom Aleichem?
Lecha Dodi?
Tzaddik Katamar?
Ahavat Olam?
Oseh Shalom?
Eyn Keyloheynu?
Adon Olam?
Would appreciate any help with this info. Thanks so much!
