[HANASHIR:4691] Re: choir names and uniforms



My adult chorus is "Kol Sason"  (sound of joy).   Kids' chorus is "Kol
Shira" (the sound of song).   My kids' middle school chorus at the day
school I teach at is named "SABABA !!!"  which means 'cool' in hebrew (Did
you hear that Steve D.?)   One of our Israeli teachers named us this when
she came into a rehearsal and felt the spirit in there.    We just couldn't
disagree with her after that.    I think we were singing Sam Glaser's
"Across the River" and she came in during the 2-part chorus.   Sorry to
ramble......
