[HANASHIR:4593] Re: 6th and 7th graders



Not sure where you are located, but your best "audience" for participation 
are kids who have been to camp - my SFTYites who have attended Coleman are 
incredible leaders and usually those who set good examples. I also don't 
dwell on any one song if it's not working, but switch quickly to one they 
know (Not By Might, Light of Hope, etc.). I mix the Hebrew into the English 
and agree with the other post - keep it going! Been doing this for 30 years, 
and love every minute of it - they're a fun age. I also ask if anyone is 
learning guitar and invite them to song lead with me for a song or two if 
they are willing to learn "Jewish" stuff as part of their rep. Hope it
