- Date: Sun 05 Dec 1999 22.23 (GMT)
Folks,
This poll will be part of a lecture demo I am doing with seniors on Shabbat
Dec 31st.
1. I am especially interested in melodies you use in shul that are
completely adaptable to any siddur--in other words, that you don't have to
print other words! Please et me know which melodies, who the composer is,
and if there is sheet music or a recording.
2. In your opinion, who in general, other than Debbie Friedman, has written
the highest number of suitable and singable melodies for traditional siddur?
ie who are your favorite contemporary musical composers for traditional
liturgy.
Thanks,
Rosalind Glazer
