These are all old Chanukah standards, some of which have lost their
popularity and are worthy of regaining it:
Ner Li
Banu Choshech
Avi Hadlik
Mi Y'malel
Mi Zeh Hidlik
Hanerot Halelu
Hava Narimah
Nerotai Haze'irim
Chanukah Chag Yafe
Al Hanisim (several versions)
S'vivon

Subject: [HANASHIR:4506] Chanukah Songs and songleading
Hello again...I think I last posted to the list maybe a year ago.
Although I've worked at Jewish summer camps for a number of years, I just
got into songleading (and playing guitar) recently. I've got my first public
songleading soon (public meaning it's not all close friends or
relatives)...any suggestions for a first-timer?
Also, I tried to put together a list of common Chanukah songs that everyone
would know:
I Have a Little Dreidel
O Chanukah, Come Light the Menorah
Light One Candle
Rock of Ages
Adam Sandler's Chanukah song
Are there any other songs that most people would know? I'd like to do
Debbie Friedman's latke song, but I can't find the music in any of my
songbooks or anywhere else. Could anyone tell me 1)where to find it or
2)what the chords are?
Thanks,
Jon
