Linda - I don't know of any orthopedic guitar straps, but probably the pain
is not caused by the strap but rather by the way you are positioning your
shoulder - maybe hunched up or whatever. Unless you have to be running
around the room, try to play sitting on a stool or with your right leg up on
a chair or low stool so that your leg is supporting the guitar rather than
your shoulder all the time. Try to pay attention to your shoulder position
(keeping them down) and by all means GO FOR THAT MASSAGE!!!!! they do help
and feel great! think of it as a necessary part of your job, not a luxury.
