[HANASHIR:4348] Hanukkah in Santa Monica

A couple of people have requested information about my recording of 
Hanukkah in Santa Monica.  I apologize for the "repeat" announcement of 
this, as I know we all want to keep the self-promotion stuff to a minimum. 
 At the same time, I'd like to be helpful to those who have asked and 
others who are interested.

The song is on my new album, Bible and Beyond.  It is recorded with the 
permission of the composer, Tom Lehrer.  It is, indeed, a very funny song, 
and many of you have probably heard Doug Cotler's rendition at CAJE and 
elsewhere.  My recording of it is pretty jazzy, with some great back-up 
vocals from Peri Smilow and Stephen Brand, and an awesome harmonica solo. 
 The album is a collection of some of my favorite songs on Jewish and 
Biblical themes--light and funny, with lots of great harmonies and some 
pretty cool instrumental arrangements.  Lyrics are included.
