[HANASHIR:4153] Re: new member potluck songs

I have to do this every time we have a congregational meeting. My advice is
to try for songs that have repetion of lyrics and then think rounds. It is
amazing how proud people feel when that listen to the sounds of the rounds
echoing in the room. I know how you feel. I feel that way at almost every
service. :-) Good luck. Margie Hilton

O.k., now I've been asked to "teach" a couple of songs at a new temple
member potluck for about twenty people. I'm imagining I'll have about
10 minutes. I see this as a potentially unsuccessful endeavor. These
people don't know one another and will feel uncomfortable just being
there without the added stress of being asked to sing in such a small
group. If you were asked to pick a couple of songs to teach a group of
strangers, what would you choose?

The ever-challenged,
