Andy - absolutely, some texts have more than one authentic version...and 
again, I wasn't attacking you personally... but I was referring to the people 
who don't bother to take the time to look things up and sing etz chaim hi 
l'machazikim ba instead of lamachazikim ba...little things that people assume 
they know because they've been doing it that way for so long...I have an 
excellent background but before I released my cd I double and triple checked 
every word of Hebrew text (and found a mistake or two) - it's just a good 
practice that I recommend for all who transmit our tradition thru music... 
'nuf said.
