Susan,
My prayers (and those of all of us, I'm sure) are with you for a speedy and 
complete recovery. As we approach the High Holy Days, we all are confronted 
with our own human frailty and tenuous existence on this earth. Sometimes, 
the reminders are not only those we impose on ourselves at this time of year, 
but also situations like yours that are very real and certainly very 
frightening.

Please know that I am thinking of you, and I hope all goes well with your 
surgery and treatment. Please keep us all informed of your progress.
