Rich...thank you so much for your update on Doug's condition. We were all
worried and are glad to hear he is being well cared for.

Unfortunately, Peter and I didn't have an opportunity to attend much in the
way of workshops as we were busy performing and presenting and resting and
eating (mostly eating...no kidding...you'd finish one meal and it seemed the
next meal would be an hour later). However, we heard tremendous things about
all the workshops and in particular about Carole's chorale. We are so
fortunate to have such talent at the CAJE conference and especially among our
group. By the way, Rich's presence was also felt a great deal. At one of the
kumsitz sessions, people actually insisted, on the verge of rioting, on
hearing certain Rich Glauber tunes or else! And early in the conference, Rich,
Rob Tobias (wonderful songwriter and singer), Robbi Sherwin, Shirona, Peter
and I and friend Phillip from Dallas, all got together for an informal
songswap. Very HN feeling and wish more of you were there!

Definitely. Anytime anyone is near Boston, please call us. We have lots of
room for company and would be happy to do what we can to help others find gigs
and/or just arrange for a great big house concert at our place.

Fondly, Ellen Allard

P.S. Rich....thank you so much for your kind words. You are a gentleman and a
scholar.
