[HANASHIR:3656] I'm OK

Some of you now that I am the songleader at the day camp at the North 
Valley Jewish Community Center in Granada Hills where today's 
shooting took place.

As fate would have it I called in sick today and was on my way to the 
doctor's office with a throat infection...so, outside of being on 
anti-biotics at the moment, I'm completely ok and was not at the 
center today at all.

I learned about the event while I was in my the waiting room at my 
doctor's office...at the end of one set of music on the light rock 
station being piped into the lobby, the DJ mentioned something about 
the center which perked my ears up...hmm...whats this...something 
special happening at the JCC...then I heard the word 
'shooting'...turned on the TV in the waiting room and the first thing 
I see is the front of the center...pan to the right and there's the 
window of the music room...live shorts of the orange punch coolers 
all set to go on the bus with the kids...the place where I park.

I don't have any new info or insights on the matter as all I know is 
what I've seen on TV...I don't even know who the victims were as they 
haven't released the names yet...though I'm sure they were camp 
folk...and as it seems at this hour, they're all in at least stable 
condition....a little bit earlier or later and a hundred kids could 
have been walking through the hall on the way to music or Arts and 
Crafts.

As fate would also have it my Internet Service Provider seems to have 
forgotten that I paid them for the year and I don't have access to my 
incoming mail today...but will tomorrow...so if I don't respond to 
people...you'll understand.

Throat infection aside...I'm just fine.
