I'll take off my listowner hat for a moment and toot my horn for this
announcement:

Karen Daniel's new album:

Teachable, Singable & Jewish: SONGS FOR SHABBAT AND HOLIDAYS

This first in the upcoming series of Teachable, Singable tapes includes 4
great songs for tot Shabbat, a brand new blessings song for children, a
wonderful teaching tune for the Tu B'Shevat seder, 14 original songs in all
for Shabbat and the Jewish holiday cycle!  Tapes will be available at CAJE
or by contacting us privately at durleste (at) home(dot)com or durlkare (at) 
aol(dot)com(dot)

Orders are now being taken for the accompanying songbook, which includes
lesson plans for each song, to be available before Chanukah.

These songs are, as the title implies, very teachable and singable - for
kids (and adults, too!)

Karen will be performing some of these songs at CAJE on Tuesday evening,
along with some selections from her first album, Breaking the Lock, and some
other new adult Jewish songs.

I'm also pleased to announce that the piano accompaniment on this tape was
done by her artistically talented husband, me.
