[HANASHIR:3586] song sources

For those of you who were in Ellen Dreskin's evaluation class at Hava
Nashira, I have some info on some sources of songs that were presented
there. I feel it is very important to know where a song came from, so
here is some info that might help you out:

Judy Hudspeth presented a great and easy New Year Round: She presented
it as "Sing it Out". I have the music to this piece and the correct
name is "Sing it In". The melody is a folk tune. The words are written
by Lucy Sollogub (English words) and Ann C. Abrams (Hebrew). These two
women compiled a book called Shiron l'shalom which contains a number of
nice songs for peace education including this piece.

Another song was taught by someone who I could not find on my roster.
His name was Nat or Nate, I believe. He taught a really cute song
called Kosher Meat and did not know where it came from. Well, it was
written and performed by Uncle Moishy and the Mitzvah Men years ago. I
also have some different words or additional words to the ones taught if
anyone is interested.

Judy :)
