[HANASHIR:2968] confirmation

Last night was our Shavuot/confirmation service.  As the confirmands came
down the aisle to mount the bima, the cantorial soloist sang Debbie F's
Shehecheyanu.  I remember the confirmation song at the temple of my
childhood.  It went something like "Father, see thy suppliant children
trembling stand before thy throne to receive the vow of Horeb.  We will
serve the Lord alone..." (cough, gag). All I can say is, "Thanks, Debbie."
