[HANASHIR:2919] Authorship of tune to Ufros Aleinu

A friend of mine is trying to discover the authorship of one fairly
common tune to Ufros 'Aleinu... how do you sing or notate something over
email? It's the one with a slow part and a fast part, the slow part has
the words and has a descending "a-lei-ei-nu" and the fast part is on
la-la-la. Pretty much two chords: Am and G, throw in an E7 if you want
to get really fancy. To her cantor's credit, he won't use it (despite
the religious performance exemption) w/o knowing the original author or
seeing sheet music.
The first Camp Swig album, Tov Lanu Lashir, credits it to that very
prolific author, "Traditional." But I'm not sure that's correct.
(Maybe they're right and I'm wrong. It's happened once or twice
before......)
Any help out there?
Thanks,
Joel
