While I cannot claim to be an authority on pregnancy - I have an idea that 
might help with the guitar part of the problem.  

There are guitar stands that hold the guitar in position and can be used 
while standing.  I have one that I occasionally use when I am on the pulpit - 
or if I am playing a concert and have a special tuning or want to switch from 
one guitar to another quickly.

Any good guitar store should carry them.
