Jewish Youth Choir Festival

Sunday April 11, 1999
At Congregation Beth Elohim
10 Hennessey Drive, Acton MA
1:00 ? 5:00 PM

Sponsored by the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston and
the Youth Choir at Congregation Beth Elohim.

Open to individuals (especially kids), plus youth choirs and choir
directors of all ranges and capabilities, K-12.

The purpose of the festival is to encourage the creation and development
of youth choirs in synagogues.

Music and dance skills (sight singing, ear training, harmony, movement,
choir singing and much more) will be taught in workshops by professional
instructors, musicians and conductors.

A special conducting and organizational planning workshop will be given
for new choir directors.
