I'm not too worried myself about the term "gospel" at all. For me it connotes
more of a "style" more than the message we might associate with it. I would
love to have some of my music put to this style. 

Actually, I have an arrangement of my song "Sing Halleluyah" in SATB. I'm
working on it with a really good volunteer choir right now and we've trying it
"gospel" style. They LOVE it and so do I!!
