Karen, I agree with you that gospel is very appealing to a great many people,
myself included.  As I see it, it's total "ruach" music, lots of wind, lots of
spirit, one and the same.  

I guess it's even an example of McLuhan's "the medium is the message" dictum.
The whole essence of that music is to lift you up.  How can you hear it and
not be moved to get up out the chair and feel the spirit.  

Anyhow, count me in, if there's any move to develop this thread within our
community.....
