Reb Ya'acov (fka Jack) Gabriel is at Congreation Har Shalom in Ft. Collins,
Colorado. The phone # is
(970) 223-5191. He is a personal friend of mine, and we have enjoyed lots
of music together, and I have cantored in his congregation on several
occasions. Har Shalom is post-denominational and very renewal and one of
the warmest I have ever sung in.
The last e-mail address I have for him is Gabriel48 (at) aol(dot)com(dot)
If you can get it (try Tara), his "Eagles Wings" CD is a must. He has a
version of Shalom Aleichem to the tune of Tumbalalaika that will really
move you. I use his stuff in my congregation a lot. He is an absolutely
awesome person.

>"I firmly believe that we humans are ALL born musicians (and artists, and
>poets, and creators...) There is a proverb from southern Africa that says, "If
>you can walk, you can dance; if you can talk, you can sing." We should stop
>thinking of music as a spectator sport and reclaim it as our birthright. In
>this way we'll discover our inner power as well as a great source of joy."
