[HANASHIR:2263] challenging musical illiteracy in our choirs

I have been using a wonderful resource & thought i would share it with
y'all. The description below says it all and, best of all, it works! (man,
i wish i got commissions for things like this...). Basically, the following
system is a collection of 5 minute lessons on ready to photocopy (all
legally, i might add!) sheets. it's really great! the same company (pavane
publishing) also has a series on choral conducting and managing a choir
from rehearsal to performance. if you have any questions about the system,
please email me privately.

Who can deny that singers are often guilty of music illiteracy, or the need
for a solution that is affordable and accessible? Now, all the material for
teacher and choir is provided, and can be copied year after year for only a
one-time purchase. Better yet, all lessons are only 5 minutes long, and can
easily be incorporated into any rehearsal. Volume 1 concentrates on name of
lines, spaces, and notes, and volume 2 deals with rhythm. Both volumes in
the series offer student lessons, a teacher's manual
