[HANASHIR:2071] RE: Prince Of Egypt

Adrian --

I do not believe that the fact that the Mi Chamocha in Prince of Egypt was
not written for liturgical use prevents use of the music in Temple within
the exception to the copyright law. Indeed, we all use many songs that,
although of a religious or spiritual nature, were not written specifically
for use in the service. For those who are interested, following is the
language of the Copyright Act that sets out the exclusion of works for use
in the service:

"(3) performance of a nondramatic literary or musical work or of
a dramatico-musical work of a religious nature, or display of a
work, in the course of services at a place of worship or other
    religious assembly"
