I dont know the cords but we heard Al Frankins Hanukah skit on The Prarie
Home companion on National public radio Saturday night and it was funnnnny.
I would like to have a copy of it. Al Frankin, pretending to be a rabbi
said "It is ok for us to sing Carols with our Gentile friends during the
holiday season as long as we insert Moses for Jesus" it was great. He then
sang "Away in a manger no crib for a bed the little lord moses laid down
his sweet head". (hmm I guess you should change that to Away in a river)
Then they played about 10 minutes of beautiful Hanukkah music. I have never
heard that much Hanukkah music on the radio in my life. I was impressed.
my son received a Hanukah song book from a friend and he is picking out the
tunes on his keyboard. He just turned 10 and started taking piano lessons
in April. Last night was so fun. my son was playing keyboard and my husband
was playing his recorder from 4th grade. My husband plays by ear, piano
guitar and just about anything else he can get his hands on. I wish I had
his gift. But at least I live with him and get to hear music everyday.
Have a Happy Hanukkah everyone!
