Yes, Rich, you are RIGHT that there is a bigger market out there! And some of
my BIGGEST fans have been from Xtians, so I understand how you feel. I even
have a well-known Xtian publisher interested in some of my songs, which
dismays me even more, the fact that my spiritual musical expression is
sometimes better appreciated by Xtian than Jewish audiences (my own Sunday
School kids seem to know more Xtian artists and songs than Jewish ones, and I
find that a very sad commentary on our culture). I stand firm that, just as
Xtian churches now perform "seders" (which they celebrate as the Last Supper,
and turn into a Xtian tradition), bridging the gap between our faiths is
merely a myth...Xtian artists will merely turn OUR heritage into
Xtianity...well, this is all I'll say on this subject, folks, since I've been
quite outspoken enough...my last word is: you have to experience this to
believe it, and we'll just have to wait and see. I'll look forward to hearing
everyone's opinion of the movie when they see it!
