The second song is Debbie's, called Bakitah.

In the classroom, bakitah, a boy is yelled and a girl is yaldah,
We call the teacher hamorah, we're learning Hebrew, ivrit chadasha.

Shalom means hi, how do you do?
Ken is yes, lo is no,
It's fun to sing the words we know.

Shulchan is a table, talmidim can speak
Writing on the luach, we use gir, don't let it squeak.


There is another verse which I can't recall right this minute-- if you
don't get it from someone else throughout the day, I will add it later
on. It is part of a Hebrew and Heritage learning curriculum that she
