[HANASHIR:1635] Re: music theory

Dr. G:

I'd respectfully ask that we keep the theory discussions on the list to a
basic level, and the advanced discussions in private email exchanges-for
now.

As for the web site, let's first talk about content and resources. We need
to find the equivalent of "music theory for dummies" and adapt it for our
particular genre. Any suggestions? An ancient copy of "Wood's Concise
Rudiments of Music" is about the only resource I still own!

(P.S.: Unless you were a real child prodigy, I don't think your teaching
years and my pre-college study years at Juilliard coincided!)

I guess I'd like to help out on this web page idea, Adrian. What do we do?

PS does this mean that I can't keep hammering the list with music theory
topics? Because I'm just about ready to attack my long awaited ii V I
diatribe.

remember you, you were in the third row, right?)
