[HANASHIR:1601] RE: Hava Nashira Recordings

Adrian,

Please don''t feel the need to apologize; we all get busy. In fact, I applaud
you for volunteering this enormous task in the first place.

If, however, the master recording does not pan out, maybe we could suggest
some applicable ground rules for taping at HN 1999. I personally consider my
tapes of the last two years' HN's to be valuable additions to my library--for
not only the repertoire, but also the teaching styles and impromptu "fun
stuff." The one thing lacking from this year's tapes is service music--an
area where the repertoire, liturgy, and atmosphere is priceless. I understand
and respect Debbie's request for us not to tape because of the clicking, but,
frankly, Debbie knows this music and I don't.

I have no answer to this question right now, but maybe someone else has an
idea? It is a shame that those of us who are being counted on as the
"messengers of the music" (I am bringing this music back to songleaders in
three states and one province) lose this wonderful resource.

Just my 2 cents....

Neil
